standard hydrogen redox potential of Amino acids Best answer on the web

  • I am looking for standard hydrogen redox potential for few Amino acids
    1) Tryptophane / Tryptophane+ and Tryptophane+ / Tryptophane
    2) Tyrosine / Tyrosine+ and Tyrosine+ / Tyrosine
    3) Phenylalanin / Phenylalanine+ and Phenylalanin+ / Phenylalanine

  • I mean either (as they will be same).
    Solvent: Water and or Acetonitrile
    pH: 7 (5 to 8 anywhere)

  • Standar reduction potential vs. NHE?
    What solvent?
    What pH?
If it's standard then it's for the reduction half-reaction: Ox + e- -> Red; standard reduction potential for Red -> Ox + e- is the same. Otherwise, you'd want to change the sign for the reverse reaction.
